Holistic medicine

Holistic veterinary medicine is defined as a comprehensive approach to health care, taking into account the whole patient and the physical and social environment, not just treating specific clinical signs. Seven Oaks Pet Hospital uses a holistic approach to veterinary medicine in order to ensure the best treatment plan is offered. For instance, if your pet has gastrointestinal signs and allergies, our veterinarians will consider that these two issues are part of a single issue and the animal is treated as a whole.

This does not mean that conventional medicine or medications will not be part of the diagnosis and treatment plan, but may be used in addition to homeopathy, acupuncture, herbal formulas, and/or nutritional management.
